An exquisite filigree diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This lovely ring is made of 18kt white gold and has an exceptional filigree wirework design. At the center of its lovely hexagonal shaped setting is a single old European Cut diamond, which weighs approximately .28ctw with H color and VS2 clarity. The filigree mounting is detailed with delicate milgraining and all sides of the ring bear a lovely engraved design. The inside of the band is stamped "18K". The ring was appraised in March 2014 by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist, and has a stated retail replacement value of $2,300. A beautifully ornate piece, it looks gorgeous when worn and would make a fantastic engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6 but could be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the 18kt white gold setting or to the diamond, which is intact.
